Please add a detailed description to posts and titles.READ THIS! You guys and gals on Reddit were incredibly encouraging when I posted Cliffs of Dover a few weeks ago. Since Cliffs I've turned my attention to Steve Vai. Took a few weeks to get it down, but it was a lot of fun to learn and even more fun to play when one gets their brain and fingers around it.
A few mistakes here and there (shits hard!), But I'm pretty happy with it and ready to move on to something else.Already know what that something else is. I'll keep you posted. It's gonna take a while.
Thanks for watching. Keep on rocking.Added bonus of no silly theatrics. Leave that to Vai. He's the rock star. I get a kick out of all the YouTube players doing all of Vai's moves that have nothing to do with playing the piece.
They just look silly IMHO. It's just practice.

Sometimes more. Then I quit guitar for a long time. Took a few months to get back up to speed, but I'm playing some of the best guitar of my life right now, and it all comes down to practice. Now it's four or five hours a day.
You have to be determined. Now I know that lots of people don't have that kind of free time, or determination I suppose, but realistically, if you want to be good, you have to put in the time.
